The OnePlus 13, officially announced on October 31, 2024, and released in China on November 1, 2024, with an international release on January 7, 2025, is a flagship smartphone that combines cutting-edge technology with a sleek design. 

Design and Display

The device features a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 3168 x 1440 pixels (QHD+), offering a dynamic refresh rate of 1-120Hz. The screen boasts a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, ensuring clarity even under direct sunlight, and supports 100% of the Display P3 color gamut with 10-bit color depth. The display is protected by Ceramic Guard glass. 

In terms of aesthetics, the OnePlus 13 is available in three colors: black and white variants with glass backs, and a blue variant featuring a vegan leather finish. The design includes flat sides, differing from the curved edges of its predecessor, the OnePlus 12.

Under the hood, the OnePlus 13 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with up to 24GB of RAM and storage options reaching up to 1TB. This combination ensures seamless multitasking and robust performance for demanding applications. 

Camera System

The smartphone is equipped with a versatile triple rear camera setup:

• Main Camera: 50 MP sensor with an f/1.6 aperture, offering optical image stabilization (OIS) for sharp and clear images.

• Telephoto Lens: 50 MP sensor with an f/2.6 aperture, providing 3x optical zoom and OIS for detailed close-up shots.

• Ultra-Wide Lens: 50 MP sensor with an f/2.0 aperture and a 120° field of view, ideal for capturing expansive scenes.

The OnePlus 13 houses a 6,000 mAh silicon carbon battery, offering higher energy density and longevity. It supports 100W wired charging, capable of reaching a full charge in approximately 36 minutes, and 50W wireless charging, achieving a full charge in about 75 minutes. 

Software and Additional Features

Running on OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15, the device promises a user-friendly experience with four years of feature updates and six years of security patches. Additional features include an IR blaster for remote control of various devices and IP68/IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, ensuring durability in various conditions. 

Pricing

At launch, the OnePlus 13 is priced at $899.99 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. In China, the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model is available for ¥4,500 (approximately €580).
