The Samsung Galaxy A15 and Galaxy A15 5G are Android-based smartphones introduced by Samsung Electronics as part of their Galaxy A series. Announced on December 11, 2023, they became available on December 16, 2023.

Both models feature a sleek design with dimensions of 160.1 mm in height, 76.8 mm in width, and 8.4 mm in depth, weighing 200 grams. They are equipped with a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display, offering a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 800 nits.

Performance and Storage

The Galaxy A15 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 processor, while the A15 5G utilizes the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset. Both devices come with RAM options of 4GB, 6GB, or 8GB, and storage capacities of 128GB or 256GB, expandable via MicroSD up to 1TB.

Camera

The rear camera setup includes a 50 MP main sensor (f/1.8), a 5 MP ultrawide lens (f/2.2), and a 2 MP macro lens (f/2.4). The front-facing camera features a 13 MP sensor (f/2.0). Both front and rear cameras support 1080p video recording at 30fps.

Battery and Charging

A 5000mAh battery powers the devices, supporting 25W Super Fast Charging. Note that the in-box charger is not included.

Software Support

Out of the box, the Galaxy A15 series runs on Android 14 with Samsung's One UI 6.0 interface. Samsung has committed to providing four years of Android upgrades and five years of security patches for these models.
